This event is no longer on sale.

Friday November 7

7:00 PM  –  8:30 PM

A contemporary dance performance examining & re-imagining US juvenile justice systems co-created by collaborating artists inside and outside of prison walls. Currently incarcerated dancers and choreographers utilize the Keshet artists on the outside as “movement ambassadors,” bringing their voice and vision to audiences on the outside, locally and nationally.
This iteration features work by student collaborators at the John Paul Taylor Center in Las Cruces, one of two remaining post-adjudication facilities in New Mexico, and Project Knucklehead in LA, California.

The content of Movement for Mercy may be emotionally challenging. This production includes themes of domestic violence and abuse, solitary confinement, drug use, suicide, incarceration, and other sensitive topics. Please take care of yourself and feel free to leave the theater at any time if needed.
